Ashwini likes to play with ladybugs. Not the toy kind but real ones. As the spring approaches, we start to see ladybugs inside the house. I don’t know where they find holes/gaps to come in but, they do.

When Ashwini sees one, she growls like a tiger and crawls there in a hurry. She points at it and makes noises that sound as if she is talking with it. She follows it around as it walks on the floor and finally crushes the unfortunate critter when she gets bored with it. We have to make sure that she doesn’t pick one up and put it in her mouth because she tries to do that. Don’t think her first meat experience should be a ladybug.
