They are going to be very close (about 1 degree from some places in USA) on Friday night. As expected, clouds are in the forecast. So, I went out tonight and captured some photos.

Venus is coming closer to Earth and as the overall size of Venus is getting bigger the sun-lit crescent is getting smaller and smaller. Compare photos taken earlier in February using same process: Feb 5th and Feb 16th
