Sadly, the internet is full of banality packaged as insight. One of the threads running through Chris Lockhead’s talks a lot about this. Made even better when you hear him say the words rather than ‘just’ you reading them.
I find most new series require two to three episodes to connect these days. The last time I was hooked from the start was News Room which had a killer opening scene and a completely compelling first season.
@mbkriegh We are waiting for Ted Lasso as well ad want to watch Shrinking. The trailer looks quite good. A show that I recently enjoyed watching was "only murders in the building" S2.
we just finished the first season of UnCoupled, Netflix. Very well done. Centered on a gay couple and in the gay world. Heterosexual characters are peripheral. I don’t think I have ever seen that before. So used to the other way around.
But upon giving it a second thought makes sense, no? How can someone you don't trust betray you?
@pratik Yes, exactly! It is kinda obvious but, it seems impactful when put in words like this.

good episode…
@mbkriegh Binged the show in the last 4-5 days. Wasn't sure if I should watch more after the first episode but, glad I continued.

@mbkriegh any other new show you’d recommend?
I just saw the episode. The line made sense in the context.
@supremus The Last of Us
@supremus Oh yeah! I’m waiting for it too. It gets better and better
@pratik somehow I just couldn’t get into Succession. I watched more than 5 episodes from season 1 but I just don’t like it. @supremus
we’ve been enjoying Shrinking on Apple and are anxiously awaiting the third season of Ted Lasso. How about you?

@supremus Thanks! Will check it out. Maybe download some episodes on iPad to watch on my way home.
@mbkriegh Also really enjoyed Slow Horses. What a great show that is.
my wife liked it but I struggled to get into it. Might try again.
will look into Only Murders In…
I just finished Slow Horses last night, it was great! Gary Oldman can sure be hilarious and gross and somber all at the same time.
@supremus Shrinking is nice too. From the makers of Ted Lasso

@hollie Yeah! Such great storytelling! I am pushing my teenagers (19,17) to watch it.
I hope they enjoy it!
