Going to the best of places for a conference - Newark airport Marriott.
Can’t waitt to hear from the organizers about the reasons for this super exciting choice!
Following our kids’ lead, went in for early voting today and fulfilled our civic duty. 🗳️
Please go and vote to keep the fascist out of the White House.
Saw a big billboard on I-77 going to Charlotte airport
“North Carolina Chinese Americans for Trump”
Really?!??!
Couldn’t take a photo as I was driving.
Both my kids voted already last week as in-person early voting was available to them in Maine and North Carolina. We are planning to do the same in coming days in Connecticut and not wait till November 5th.
Truth matters.
Integrity matters.
Accountability matters.
Every vote matters and counts.
There is no acceptable excuse for not voting.
It was supposed to be cloudy but it cleared up right after sunset and comet Tsushibchan-ATLAS made a surprising visit. Also found out that I can see it from my front yard without going to faraway places in search of western horizon.
Iceland 2024
After coming back from a 2-week long vacation, work got really busy. It took me a long time to connect my daily notes from the trip with photos to make these daily posts. I have learned a lot from planning this trip and actually going through with it. If anyone wants tips or ideas for planning an Iceland trip, do reach out. I’ll be happy to share my experience.

A couple more photos of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS from last night. Tonight it will be farther away from the horizon but we are expecting rain. 😒
My daughter and her roommate went to Acadia National Park on their Fall break. I am very happy for her and also a little sad. We have been to Acadia so many times as a family and have so many great memories. Wish we were all there together, making more memories.
Finished reading: Reykjavík by Ragnar Jónasson 📚
After the trip to Iceland, I wanted to read a story that is based in Iceland. This mystery was a perfect fit for that. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Seeing some faint northern lights from my front yard. This year has been just insane for me to view this. It is going to go on for another year before subsiding. I am really enjoying it.
